Model 4443 Kit

Magnum is pleased to offer Carde Systems limited pre-production run of the 4" fiberglass airframe rocket Model #4443. These longitudinally molded airframes segments are made from 100% fiberglass and include: integrated nose cone, body tube, fins, fin bevels, fin fillets, tail cone, and 54 mm motor mount. Fiberglass construction provides an excellent strength to weight ratio allowing for flight under a wide impulse range (F-L) for flights from 200' to over 10,000'. It also providing an ideal surface for finishing. Fiberglass's ruggedness is well known in the rocketry community, where 'dings' and 'bumps' are common. The segmented structure allows for multiple methods of construction.

This rocket kit consists of 4 longitudinal quarters.  Assembly of the airframe into a rocket can be done in a variety of ways from: simply taping the 4 quarter sections together with 200mph tape (duct tape) for 29mm flights, or using epoxy along with foam, balsa, or honeycomb re-enforcements for 75mm and 98mm powered flights. These airframes should not be confused with skill level 1 kits, they are an advanced composite component for the serious rocket builder experienced with the application of fiberglass in rocket construction.

To minimize the "time-to-start-flying", a free 29mm rear eject parachute recover booster kit is being included (while supplies last). With the assembled booster module, the airframe segments and some tape, you can be flying the rocket powered by your favorite 29mm rocket motors in under an hour!

The Model #4443  is a 4 inch diameter, 4 foot long, 4 fin, 3 lb airframe kit.
